Daniels Healthcare at IP2025

The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) Conference 2025 is one of the most important gatherings for those working in infection prevention.
The Daniels Healthcare team was pleased to attend this year’s IPS annual conference held at the Brighton Centre from 29–30 September. The annual event brought together infection prevention and control (IPC) professionals, NHS staff, and industry experts to share best practice, research, and innovation across the sector.
This year’s programme included sessions on antimicrobial resistance, sustainability, digital solutions, and new approaches to infection prevention in clinical settings. The event also featured a busy exhibition, poster presentations, and the annual IPS awards ceremony, celebrating excellence across the IPC community.
Team reflections on IP2025
The Daniels Healthcare stand welcomed many visitors over the two days. Our team had the opportunity to demonstrate our products, discuss new ideas with IPC professionals, and hear how sustainability continues to be a growing focus for NHS Trusts and healthcare providers.
Mark Brothers, Business Development Manager – South West, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to meet up with old and new customers. They always bring a positive vibe to the event, and the presentation event is always good fun. I’m already looking forward to the next one in 2026.”
Les Boyce, Business Development Manager – North, said: “I always enjoy the IPS conference to meet up with other companies who I have known for years and find out how they are coping with their busy schedules. Catching up with Infection Control teams from the area I cover is also enjoyable and being in a more relaxed atmosphere than their workplace they can let their hair down a little. Showing our products and gaining their interest from a sustainability point of view has been encouraging and hopefully fits in with the planning for future targets in the trusts they work in. The enthusiasm the IPC teams show at conference is still infectious when talking to them and I was thrilled to see that Birmingham Community won a well-deserved award.”
Anna McEwen, Business Development Manager – South East, said: “As always, the annual IPS event was a great opportunity to stay up to date with the latest talking points in infection prevention and control, discovering what topics really matter to our customers. Personally, what I enjoyed most was the energy of the event. It leads to different conversations with customers which brings new ideas to the surface. I’ve come away with a hundred thoughts bubbling away and ideas for projects that I can’t wait to be part of in the future. It was also really pleasing to see infection control teams that I know be recognised for all their brilliant work on the awards night and getting their fully deserved moment in the spotlight.”
Looking ahead
The IPS annual conference continues to be an important event for sharing knowledge, strengthening professional connections, and understanding the challenges and opportunities facing infection prevention and control.
The Daniels Healthcare team would like to thank the IPS organisers, speakers, and delegates for another engaging and valuable event.
