byDaniels Healthcare wins Best Large Exhibition Stand award at IPS 2016
It may seem like an odd thing to say, but we LOVE attending exhibitions and events here at Daniels. They are invaluable because they allow us to meet the people that matter to us, all in one place: our lovely existing customers, potential new ones, suppliers, advisers and key figures in our industry.
That kind of face-to-face communication and networking at this year’s Infection Prevention Society (IPS) Conference (the largest infection prevention and control exhibition in the UK) really helped us to forge new relationships, strengthen existing alliances, showcase our products and share Daniels’ values with those attending.
A lot of work goes into preparing for the conference and one of the biggest (in terms of time spent and the actual size!) is developing our stand. With the conference programme tailored to attract a wide audience we wanted to ensure there was something for everyone on our stand.
As well as interactive displays and tablets on hand, we ran a competition to win one of our coveted #DANIbears. We handed out pedometer and challenged people to see who could do the most steps for the chance to be the new owner of one of Daniels’ famous mascots (we had two very happy winners!). We also developed branded portable device chargers as we know how frustrating it is when you’re at the conference of the year and your phone battery is about to die!
All of this lead to Daniels being crowned “Best Large Exhibition Stand 2016” and we couldn’t have been prouder. It was the conference delegates who voted for the stand and that means so much to us.
Did you vote for us? Please let us know what you liked about the stand and our activities, we’d love your feedback.
Finally, a big thank you to everyone who managed to visit our stand and I hope you come back and see us again next year.
