Team Focus: Colin Paice, Local Customer Support
This is part of a series of posts where we introduce each member of the Daniels Healthcare team, from across the organisation. We have a compliment of approximately 90+ staff members who all live and breathe the ethos of Daniels and you’ll get to meet many of them in this series.
Colin joined Daniels in 2002 and forms part of the Local Customer Support Team in the South of England, covering the South West, Kent, Bucks and parts of London.
His focus is on auditing both NHS and private hospitals in these geographical areas to help customers to ensure they have the right products and are using them correctly. He also advises on any associated training and provides on-the-ground, practical help with brackets.
He moved to Daniels 16 years ago from a cleaning supplies company after a friend recommended that he apply for the job. This ‘friend’ is our very own Andrew Forrest who is also part of the Daniels family! We’re delighted that Colin has remained with us ever since.
Working closely with the sales team, Colin has helped at exhibitions and study days, answering questions about Daniels products and sharing his experiences.
He says: “I regularly see the pressures that hospital staff are facing, so if I can help in a small way by ensuring their sharps products and practices are safe, then I feel like I’ve made a worthwhile contribution to staff and patient safety”.
In his spare time Colin enjoys mountain biking and kayaking. He’s also a keen gardener and handyman.
He lives with his partner in Kent and says his friends and family would describe him as helpful, conscientious and easy to get on with.
