As part of the UK Pavilion, Daniels Healthcare joined a group of innovative British companies presenting cutting‑edge medical devices, digital health solutions and diagnostics technologies to international audiences. “We were inspired by the scale and diversity of expertise at WHX this year,” said Steven Boyle, Sales Director UK & Ireland – Healthcare. “Being part of the UK Pavilion alongside so many innovative British companies was a great opportunity to connect with customers and partners. The interest in our new sharps containers made from healthcare waste was genuinely strong and sparked meaningful conversations about sustainability and safe disposal in healthcare settings worldwide.”
Spotlight on sharps solutions
A highlight of Daniels Healthcare’s presence was the display of the new 24L SHARPSGUARD® eco container, the world’s first regulated sharps container made using recycled healthcare waste.
The product was a conversation starter across the Expo floor, attracting interest from visitors keen to explore solutions that combine clinical safety, sustainability and modern procurement standards.
Delegates from hospitals, government health systems, distributors and supply chain partners engaged with the team to learn about:
- the container’s design
- capacity improvements
- the role of recycled materials in future procurement strategies and
- sustainable sharps disposal options for healthcare staff, including nurses and clinical teams
Making connections on a global stage
For Daniels Healthcare, World Health Expo 2026 was not only an opportunity to present innovative products but also a chance to reconnect with existing customers and build new international partnerships.
The team had the chance to meet face-to-face with:
- distributors
- NHS partners
- procurement leads and
- clinical leaders from around the world.
“There’s something unique about being in the same room with so many professionals dedicated to advancing healthcare and supporting those who work within the sector,” Steven added.
“The conversations we had, whether about sharps safety, product innovation or sustainability goals, will help shape how we continue to support our customers globally.”
