Brighton bound: the Daniels Healthcare team gears up for IP2025

Daniels Healthcare is delighted to announce our participation at IP2025, the Infection Prevention Society’s flagship conference – our 30th year attending – taking place at the Brighton Centre on 29 and 30 September 2025.
On-site throughout the event will be: Les Boyce, Key Account Manager – North; Anna McEwen, Business Development Manager – South East; Mark Brothers, Business Development Manager – South West; Pete Williamson, Clinical & Sales Support Manager; and Steven Boyle, Sales Director UK and Ireland – representing our team at the exhibition on stand 36.
With its world-leading scientific programme, innovation spotlight and largest UK infection prevention exhibition, we’re looking forward to meeting attendees, introducing our sustainable SHARPSGUARD® eco 24L container, and engaging with the latest developments across infection prevention and control (IPC).
What’s on the agenda?
IP2025 promises a rich array of sessions, including keynote lectures, workshops, and symposia covering vital topics such as Fundamentals of Care, IPC in Specialist Settings, Built Environment Infection Risks, Sustainability, Digital/AI Solutions, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), and more.
The conference also includes poster and oral presentations, a social event and awards ceremony at the Grand Hotel, and excellent networking opportunities.
Customers, conversation, and containers
We asked the Daniels Healthcare team what they are most looking forward to about IPS2025 and this is what they said:
Les Boyce, Key Account Manager – North, says: “Our team is excited to connect with delegates, hear about emerging challenges, and explore how future Daniels Healthcare products can helpfully evolve to meet new clinical, IPC, and sustainability goals.”
Mark Brothers, Business Development Manager – South West, comments: “We’re confident our stand, featuring the eco 24L, will help spark practical discussions. Meeting customers in person again, especially in Brighton, is a real highlight for me”
Pete Williamson, Clinical & Sales Support Manager, reflects: “I’m particularly looking forward to catching up with customers old and new – it’s brilliant to reconnect face-to-face, share real-life stories, and discuss infection prevention and sustainability more informally and broadly. IP2025 is a key moment for sharing innovation and building connections.”
Anna McEwen, Business Development Manager – South East, adds: “If you’re attending IP2025, we’d love to see you at our stand – it’s particularly impressive this year (and we’ve won awards for it in the past!). Drop by, chat to Les, Pete, Mark or myself, and explore the eco 24L container and our wider solutions in sustainable sharps disposal.”
What you’ll see on our stand
At our stand, we’ll be highlighting the SHARPSGUARD® eco 24L container – our latest sustainable innovation made with up to 80% post-consumer recycled plastic, including material from NHS clinical waste. It maintains the safety, durability, and compliance standards of the 22L model but with increased capacity and no extra cost.
We’re pleased to bring this innovation into the IP2025 conversation, especially within the conference’s sustainability theme. It’s a practical solution that combines performance and environmental responsibility.
This conference brings together professionals at the forefront of IPC practice and research. With its broad and inspiring programme, plus excellent networking opportunities and the UK’s largest IPC exhibition, we can’t wait to head to Brighton.
See you there!
