How to use

Put a SHARPSGUARD® absorbent sachet inside every purple lidded sharps container prior to use, so that the sachet sits at the base of the empty container. Use the sharps container as normal. The sachet opens on contact with any residue liquid from the disposed sharps and locks in liquids to form a solid gel. SHARPSGUARD® absorbent sachets prevents the risk of accidental spillages, it denatures the contents of any syringe waste and reduces the risk of infection and cross contamination. When the sharps container is full, dispose of the sharps container using your normal sharps waste disposal route.

How much to use

One SHARPSGUARD® absorbent sachet absorbs up to 340ml of liquid, sufficient for most sharps containers. For larger sharps containers, add the sachets needed for liquid anticipated.
