Team Focus: Jade Harris, Head of Customer Service

This is part of a series of posts where we introduce each member of the Daniels Healthcare team, from across the organisation. We have a compliment of approximately 90+ staff members who all live and breathe the ethos of Daniels and you’ll get to meet many of them in this series.

Jade Harris joined the business in 2014 specialising in customer support and industrial products.

She has a wealth of experience in providing high-quality customer service in the manufacturing industry and has specialised in this area throughout her career.

After completing a Business Admin Apprenticeship at college, Jade worked for various companies, building her practical knowledge and hands-on skills to become an expert in the liaison between companies and its customers.

Jade says: “I enjoy the interaction with customers; helping to answer any queries, supporting requests for urgent orders and resolving any issues. Everyday is different and it’s the variety of the role which keeps me motivated”.

A typical day for Jade is monitoring queries, systems and processes to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and the smooth running of her team. Working closely with her counterparts across Europe they share knowledge and expertise and implement improvements to how the department operates.

Jade continues: “I feel lucky to have a brilliant team around me. We all support each other and help one another out when we have a challenging task or a higher-than-usual workload. It also helps that we socialise together so it feels like more of a family than a team of work colleagues. It’s the people who make a company what it is”.

In her spare time, Jade loves spending time with her friends and family and is kept busy by her young daughter. They take pleasure in listening to music together and singing along, and when Jade gets the chance, she regularly goes to gigs and concerts. Her mum used to take her as a child and she’s kept up the tradition ever since. She is a fan of a whole mixture of music genres and has seen lots of pop and indie acts, from Oasis to Take That.

Jade also has a nine-year-old cat called Billy who she says is THE most chilled feline on the planet!
